I Love Storytimes To Go Kits

While everyone else is decorating their home for Valentine's Day, I borrow beauty from the library

Storytimes To Go Kits, like this one for Valentines Day, are smoochie times infinity. Each kit comes in a canvas bag and contains themed books, a manipulative {usually a puppet or felt board with characters}, and occasionally, music CD's.

Books are the ultimate decorating loot. Functional, educational, and best of all, if you borrow from the library, they're not going to spend most of their lives in a box in your basement. Or stuck on a shelf.
The library makes Valentine's Day more meaningful, because the real gift is time spent together.

Want a simple but significant way to express how much you cherish your children? Read to them. I know my children feel loved when I put down the gadgets and focus solely on them. Reading aloud showers them with  affection and meaningful, memorable attention.

Library books live in the present while visiting your home. They are a borrowed gift of right now, like today.

The library focuses on loving and appreciating family. Isn't that what Valentine's Day is all about?
Spend Less. Share More. Library.

xoxo Michele

We love our library's literacy kits. They are so much fun.

And I just have to say that I LOVE your new header - love that edition of Les Mis and the pages in the shape of a heart. It looks awesome.
