Decorating With Books For Christmas

I'm in a bit of a slump. Not sure if it's the lack of writing for a week, the two and half cupcakes (bliss, pure bliss) my dear friend Christine made, the pound of Peppermint Bark (bellissimo, Cha Cha), or my disappointment with this movie last week. I wanted it to be the book. It wasn't.

So let's look at some photo inspiration, shall we?

I'm feeling better already. This afternoon I'll be hunting for old hardbacks at the library in blues and greens with a few accent colors. We have smoochie little resin figures and a small bird for the top. Grazie, Kristie Barnett.

This is dreamy times infinity. The library might not appreciate me breaking the spines of their borrowed beauty, so I'll use books that I find on their library sale table.

I've been looking for a craft to do with the children, and this is perfection. They can choose their favorite verse and design a meaningful display.

The library shares swoon-worthy ideas that make the holiday season shine. How will you be decorating with books?

xoxo Michele

Now, that's what I call smart decorating! I'm happy you're crawling your way out of the slump. We all find ourselves on our knees sometimes.

I love these! I've been trying to think of ways I can actually decorate with or display our Christmas books. Thanks for the inspiration!
