On a morning walk our oldest son saw this sculpture for the first time. He froze. Took a deep breath. Then silence. Reverence. His heart witnessed something astonishing.
That night we read from this. I can't tell you which is more powerful, the images in front of or behind his eyes. But because of the art contemplated on our walk and the art found at the library, Nicholas grew. We both did.
