His Dream, Her Dream

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
                                                             ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

The library has everything your children need to make this holiday more than just a day off from school. And if your daughter is like mine, she will request books that allow her to teach her students about a man that had a dream. That one day his children would be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. You can find materials from the library here.

It is Arielle's dream for all children. Including her class below.

Have a great weekend.

xoxo Michele

As I child I used to play like Arielle. Be sure to remind her of this when she decides what she wants to be when she grows-up. I forgot, went into engineering, and now am truly seeing that a teacher is what I am in my soul and spirit.

I am not a lurker, I am an engager. And I love this post. I wonder where our stash of stuffed animals is.
