31 Days of Library Living {Day 04}: Access To Knowledge

"My mother and father were illiterate immigrants from Russia...

...When I was a child they were constantly amazed that I could go
to a building and take a book on any subject...

...They couldn't believe this access to knowledge we have here in America...

...They couldn't believe that it was free."  ~ Kirk Douglas

Nick found this book today at the library and read it most of the walk home.

31 Days of Library Living {Day 03}: Monday Mornings

Mondays. Sometimes affectionately referred to as Morning Breath in our home. But we have a solution. Devotionals, short stories and comics from the library at the breakfast table, refreshed with a new group each weekend. Simple, sweet and stimulating. Like Scope and Colgate for the brain fog. Only better.

How do you rev up your Monday mornings?

And I especially love your comments, I read and respond to each and every one. I'm a talker. A yakker. A loquacious library lovin' ladymama.
