Game Of Thrones

Game Of Thrones - The Dreamy "Jon Snow"
My husband loves TV.

I love books.

But we have found an HBO series (based on this book series - I loved it) that has us meeting nightly on the couch almost breathless with anticipation of the next episode. Breathless I tell you. If you have HBO, you can watch the first season right now. The second season will be out in April of 2012.

If you've read the books by the brilliant George R.R. Martin, you'll have a deeper understanding of the characters and the source behind the magic of what smoochie David Benioff has created for the TV screen.

It has sparked delightful, connecting conversations between me and Carl because he wants to know more about the background of the characters that can't be shared in the show due to time constraints - but it's all in my head and my heart from the books.

 My hero, "Arya Stark".

Read the book series, available at your local library.

Then watch the HBO series with your hubby.

We have been enjoying the best date evenings - ever - right in our own home.

(This series is not for children - adults only. There is graphic fighting and the other stuff I won't mention because my mom is reading this and I don't want to embarrass her. Love you, mom.)

xoxo Michele

i love cinema and hbo production.
And i love books too :)
The first is very particular for some scenes but the production respected the books.
My hero: Arya and Daenerys Targaryen.

Ahh, too frugal for HBO. Maybe a DVD Season Collection one day. And, I'll know where to find it...the library!

Ahh, this does not help my longing for HBO. Sigh, and Jon Snow? Wheet-woo! Very cute.

PS Your note to your mom cracked me up. Recently, I wrote something to my mom on my blog about putting posts in the scheduler. If I schedule something to post at 8:00 at night, my mom is calling because she thinks I'm online. Too funny.

Happy New Year, lady.
